Poker Traffic (traffic.poker) is a tool for poker players to find live games and receive alerts. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used.
What we collect
- Telegram identity when you sign in via the Telegram Login Widget: Telegram user ID, first/last name, username and (if you provide one) profile photo URL. These are returned to us by Telegram and signed by the bot token to prove authenticity.
- Alert preferences you create on the site: game type, stakes, room and club selections, tracked player nicknames.
- Affiliate access: which affiliate promo code you redeemed, so the site can show that affiliate’s curated club list.
- Operational data: timestamps of alerts we send to you, basic request logs for debugging.
What we do with it
- Authenticate you on the site.
- Send Telegram messages to you when one of your alerts triggers.
- Render personalized pages (alert list, affiliate clubs).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in our own PostgreSQL database, hosted on a server we control. Telegram messages are sent through the official Telegram Bot API.
Removing your data
Open Telegram and message /stop to @PokerTraffic_bot. That unlinks your Telegram from the account and stops alerts. To delete the account entirely, write to @exz1k.
